Milan, 31/03/2026 – The 21st edition of the Trento Festival of Economics will be held from May 20 to 24, 2026. Following the format devised in 2022 by the Il Sole 24 ORE Group together with Trentino Marketing, on behalf of the Autonomous Province of Trento and with the support of the Municipality and the University of Trento, the format has seen the ‘squirrel crowd’ (i.e., the public) grow extraordinarily, reaching over 140,000 attendees in four years. It was precisely the event’s huge popularity and its packed programme of sessions that prompted the organisers to introduce a significant change in 2026: extending the event to five days, bringing together leading figures from the worlds of economics, academia, politics, and the business community at both national and international levels.
