Following the success of the first edition, Il Sole 24 Ore is relaunching the 2026 Sustainability School Award, an initiative dedicated to primary and secondary schools that promote innovative projects in the three areas of sustainability: environmental, social, and economic. The award confirms the Group's commitment to promoting schools as places of growth and innovation, recognizing the central role of students and teachers in building a more conscious future. Applications may relate to projects already implemented or ideas under development, ranging from recycling to energy saving, sustainable mobility to initiatives for inclusion and combating early school leaving

The proposals will be evaluated by a commission composed of prominent figures from the institutional, academic, and business worlds, chaired by Fabio Tamburini, Director of Il Sole 24 Ore, Radio 24, and Radiocor. He will be joined by Maria Carmela Colaiacovo, Chairman of Gruppo Il Sole 24 ORE, Marina Brogi, Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the University of Milan-Bicocca, Francesca Carbone, Director General for Students, Inclusion, Guidance and Combating Early School Leaving at the Ministry of Education and Merit, and Edoardo Garrone, President of ERG, who will help select the most deserving projects. The Sustainability School Award will once again be held alongside the Sustainable Business Award, dedicated to SMEs that excel in ESG terms.

Both awards will be presented on Thursday, October 29, 2026, in Rome, as part of the 2026 Sustainability Forum.

Applications are open until June 18, 2026.
